What's Up for Grabs?
Our Junior Zoo Keeper Experience is a hands-on school holiday adventure for young animal lovers aged 6–12. From feeding time to keeper duties, no two moments are the same.
What’s Included?
- FREE Junior Zoo Keeper Experience (valued at $175)
- Winner chooses either Wednesday 8 July or Tuesday 14 July
- Full-day experience: 9:00 AM – 3:30 PM
- Feed, groom and care for a variety of animals
- Learn alongside experienced keepers
- Official Junior Keeper hat and certificate
- Nutritious meals and scheduled breaks included
- Build confidence, responsibility and animal awareness

About Our New Snake
- Species: Clown Pied Ball Python
- Native Habitat: Sub-Saharan Africa
- Size & Appearance: 1-1.5m long with bright, pixelated gold-and-black patterns sharply interrupted by smooth, stark white patches
- Personality Traits: Highly docile, gentle, and timid
- Favourite Foods: Small rodents, shrews, and occasionally birds
- Fun Fact: They get the name “Ball Python” because they literally roll into a ball when stressed, but in Europe, they are called Royal Pythons because African royalty historically wore them as living jewellery.
