General Safety & Hygiene
This facility maintains a biological collection, which carries a level of inherent risk relating to injuries and diseases to people. Controls have been put into place to minimize and mitigate these risks onsite, however these risks cannot be eliminated. Please act in a courteous, responsible and respectful manner around the facility for your own safety and for the safety of our staff and animals.
Enclosed footwear and appropriate clothing are advised as this is an outdoor facility with potentially uneven surfaces and wet areas. Please also practise good hygiene by properly washing your hands before and after eating, using the bathroom and coming into contact with animals. It is recommended that you do not drink the tap water onsite, as it is unfiltered tank water.
First Aid
To seek first aid please contact facility staff within the Admission Building or Cafe. All injuries or incidents must be immediately reported to facility staff or facility management, and documented.
Emergency Management
In the case of an emergency, please follow all directions given by staff. The emergency assembly point is located in the driveway near the front gate of the facility entry.
Condition of Entry
- Park Management maintains the right to refuse entry to this establishment, for any reason.
- Park Management maintains the right to ask visitors to leave the facility, if they are in breach of these conditions, with no refund.
- Visitors are not allowed to bring any animals onto the property.
- Visitors who do not attend pre-booked encounters, experiences, photo opportunities or rides at the allocated time, will not be issued a refund.
- External food can be brought into the park; however, it cannot be consumed in the designated café eating areas, these areas are reserved for café patrons.
- No fire, BBQ’s or heating elements to be brought into the park.
- No rubber balloons, confetti or bubbles to be brought into the park.
- Children must always be supervised by an adult.
- Visitors must not enter animals exhibits, off display areas, or areas marked as no entry, unless authorized to do so by staff.
- Visitors are not to climb or stand on fences, vegetation or any other objects without authorization from staff.
- Visitors who damage goods, objects, vegetation, equipment, rides or any other item within the facility will be asked to leave the property, with no refund.
- Visitors who harass, chase, torment, tease, provoke or injure animals will be asked to leave the property, with no refund. This could also lead to prosecution for breach of legislation.
- Visitors can only feed the designated animal food to our animals. Visitors who feed animals that have a sign saying “Do not feed” will be asked to leave the property, with no refund.
- Visitors must follow any specific rules and signage within each section of the facility, whether rules are written or verbal instructions.
- If you come into contact with animals do not kiss the animals, also do not lick, suck or put your fingers in your mouth.
- Do not touch faeces or soil in animal exhibits.
- Smoking, vaping, consumption of drugs or alcohol is not permitted.
- Do not litter. Please place rubbish in the bins provided.
- You must wear your wristband whilst visiting the facility.
- We take no responsibility for lost property.

- PROPER FOOTWEAR IS REQUIRED
- DO NOT USE PLAYGROUND WHEN WET
- NO RUNNING, PUSHING OR SHOVING
- HAVE FUN AND PLAY SAFE
